Burgermeister has become one of Germany's most iconic burger brands. Since opening our first restaurant in Berlin in 2006, we've built our reputation on exceptional quality, passionate people, and unforgettable guest experiences.

As we continue our expansion across Europe, we're bringing Burgermeister to Denmark. For the opening of our first restaurant in Copenhagen, we're looking for an ambitious Store Manager who wants to build a high-performing team and play a key role in establishing our brand in this exciting new market.

Your Mission

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of our restaurant and lead your team to success. From recruiting and developing your employees to ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences, you'll be at the heart of Burgermeister's success in Denmark.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the launch of Burgermeister in Denmark and help establish our brand in an exciting new market.

Your Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the daily operations and overall performance of the restaurant

• Recruit, onboard, train, coach and develop a high-performing team

• Create a positive, motivating and inclusive team culture

• Lead by example and actively support your team during busy service periods

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure consistently high service standards

• Monitor sales, labour costs, food costs and other key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Prepare staff schedules and optimise labour planning

• Ensure compliance with Danish food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

• Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier orders.

• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence

• Work closely with our Operations and People & Culture teams to successfully establish Burgermeister in Denmark
  
  

Who You Are
You enjoy leading people, solving challenges, and creating an environment where both guests and employees feel welcome. You're passionate about hospitality and understand what it takes to run a successful restaurant.

Ideally, you bring:

• Several years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, or Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)

• Experience managing a restaurant with full operational responsibility

• Strong commercial awareness and experience working with KPIs

• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills

• A proactive, hands-on mindset and a willingness to lead from the front

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment

• Confidence in making decisions and solving problems under pressure

• Fluency in English

• Danish language skills are an advantage, but not essential
