We're looking for a Communications & Marketing Manager to own our communications and marketing strategy end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that sits within the commercial team and bridges communications, marketing, and branding. The role is for someone who is eager to join a growth journey and ready to take responsibility for shaping how Embankment tells its story, strengthens its market position, and builds lasting awareness across the industry.
Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Operations and working closely with senior leadership, you will drive initiatives to communicate our value proposition and support business development across the markets we serve. Your work will be central to building trust, driving demand, and supporting our continued growth across existing and new markets.
What You'll Do
- Set and own the strategy. Develop and run Embankment's communication and marketing strategy and efforts across markets and channels.
- Create standout content. Produce and manage high-quality external communications; write articles, newsletters, corporate communications, website content, and thought leadership. You'll coordinate and lead initiatives across partnerships, product teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and strengthen our corporate narrative.
- Grow our digital presence. Drive marketing initiatives across channels by continuously improving our website with content, driving SEO efforts, managing our LinkedIn presence, and creating targeted campaigns across platforms.
- Own the calendar. Build and execute a structured communications and marketing calendar covering campaigns, newsletters, email, and content.
- 2-3+ years of communications and marketing experience, ideally from a B2B company in private markets, financial services, fintech, SaaS, or a similar industry.
- Experience from high-growth, startup or scaleup environments: you thrive in a fast-moving environment and are comfortable taking ownership of your role and responsibilities. You set the direction and move quickly, even when you don't have the complete picture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn complex topics into clear, compelling messaging. You care about getting the details right and have a strong understanding of how to shape corporate narratives across traditional media, new media, social, and owned channels.
- Proven experience planning and executing content creation and copywriting across articles, newsletters, website content, thought leadership, and campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, LinkedIn campaigns, and other digital marketing activities.
- A relevant educational background.
