The job is mostly about helping customers get Clerk.io set up well. That means syncing data into Clerk.io, using our interface, helping customers choose the right setup, and implementing designs into their websites.
There are some technical parts. Knowing HTML, CSS or JavaScript helps, and it will make you faster. But deep coding experience is not required. A lot can be done with our tools, AI and support from the team. What matters more is that you are willing to learn, ask good questions and keep the customer moving forward.

The job is to help Clerk.io customers get the most value from their subscription with us.
You will guide and advise customers on the best strategy for using our products and run the implementation of Clerk.io in their shop system. You will help customers install plugins or generate API keys, set up the data import, use AI to generate designs and then embed those designs into their storefront.
We generally work in 2 onboarding sessions per day. One from 9-12 CET and the second from 13-16 CET. Then 16-17 is for closing down, sending updates, getting to inbox 0 and making sure no customer is left wondering what is happening.
In these sessions, you will meet the customer over Google Meet, make a plan with them and then execute that plan.

What The Hiring Process Looks Like
- Apply to this job with a short video introducing yourself and why you would be a good fit. We are a people company and like to put a face on our colleagues.
- Then we have a quick virtual coffee to make sure our values align.
- If we both agree, there is a take-home assignment. Part of it is setting up Clerk.io, and part of it is writing a short customer update. We care a lot about how clearly and proactively you communicate during a project.
- Lastly, there is a final meeting where we align the last parts of your contract, etc.
