Do you want to drive quality in Business Banking?
We are looking for a passionate QA/Test Engineer to strengthen quality engineering within BBI. You will help deliver secure, user-friendly, and innovative banking solutions and play a critical role in ensuring delivery quality across SIT, UAT, and production readiness, working closely with business, vendors, and internal teams.
As a QA Engineer, you will play a central role throughout the development lifecycle – from requirements analysis and test design to execution and reporting.
You will collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners, often acting as the link between business and IT, and ensuring that solutions meet high-quality standards for Business Banking.
Your Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Analyze requirements and design test scenarios and test cases aligned with business goals
- Develop and execute comprehensive level test plans (manual and automated)
- Own hands-on test execution across E2E, SIT, and UAT phases
Defect & Quality Management
- Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with developers, BAs, Product Owners, and external vendors
- Ensure effective defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
Quality Governance & Delivery
- Act as the quality gatekeeper, ensuring alignment with BEC standards and risk frameworks
- Support production readiness and quality sign-off
Continuous Improvement
- Help optimize testing processes and tools
- Stay ahead of best practices and industry trends in QA and test engineering

We Are Looking for Someone Who
- Has experience in testing and quality assurance within agile development environments
- Is familiar with SDLC, ISTQB, risk-based testing, and test automation
- Non‑Functional Testing Knowledge: Solid understanding of key non-functional test types (e.g., performance, reliability, security) and ability to identify when they should be applied based on system context and risk.
- Test management tools: Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray or similar)
- Is curious, structured, and has strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Enjoys taking ownership and collaborating across teams
- Has ISTQB Foundation certificate
It’s nice-to-have:
- Domain knowledge: Familiarity with Banking Domain- Cash Pool, Payments and Core Banking.
- CI/CD Expertise: Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including basic integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.
