Continia is looking for a skilled and motivated Customer Onboarding Coordinator to join our Onboarding team and play a key role in ensuring we meet all requirements related to customer onboarding onto our systems.

About your role and team

You'll be joining a smaller team spread across our Aalborg and Copenhagen offices. The team covers a range of functions, with Legal Counsels, Compliance Managers, and Onboarding Specialists working together under the leadership of our Head of Legal & Compliance

As Customer Onboarding Coordinator, you'll be responsible for performing onboarding checks on new and existing business customers in accordance with our policies and procedures.


The role is vital in providing our customers with good onboarding experience and protecting Continia from malicious activities and upholding our reputation. You'll be a detective, an analyst, and a problem-solver, utilizing our systems and your keen eye to investigate and resolve onboarding-related cases. Continia is currently not subject to statutory KYC obligations but may be in the future.


But it's not just about following procedures; it's about contributing to a better future for our onboarding process at Continia, and thereby a better process for our customers. We encourage you to actively participate in improving and streamlining our processes, particularly as we move towards greater automation. This can include implementation of new systems. Your insights and ideas will be invaluable as we strive to make our onboarding more efficient and effective.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform onboarding checks on new business customers verifying that the information provided is correct and ensure that the customer is onboarded accordingly.
  • Perform ongoing due diligence to ensure that we have up to date information.
  • Collect and verify business identification documents, including company registration, ownership structure, and signatories.
  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence investigations on businesses.
  • Analyze customer information to identify potential risks and red flags.
  • Investigate and resolve onboarding related cases.
  • Proactively participate in identifying areas for improvement in our onboarding policies, processes and systems.
  • Assist with implementing new processes and systems.

About you

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong work ethic and a drive for following and improving processes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


We imagine you have the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Experience in a similar position with onboarding of customers.
  • Have experience working within an international company, ideally within software.
  • Experience with onboarding systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
