And are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects? Then, join COWI and make your mark on the projects that connect communities and create lasting societal value.
Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow
To drive the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects and create lasting value for society, we are looking for a Project Director and a Design Manager to join our team. You will join a professional team and work closely with experts across the organisation, either within Project Management or Design Management. Together the units are leading the largest and most complex infrastructure projects across Denmark.
We are more than 400 transportation and infrastructure specialists working alongside our customers on some of the most significant infrastructure projects. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link, Kalundborg and E45 and E20 Highway projects. Currently we are involved in large complex projects like Billund-Give Highway project, CHP Airport, Odense Tramway and our project portfolio is broad, ranging from urban development projects to highways, airports and other civil works projects for clients like Energinet, Novo and Lego.
You will become part of a strong professional community at your level across Transportation in Denmark. This includes dedicated forums where Project Managers collaborate, share best practices, and develop their capabilities, as well as a strategic forum for Design Management focused on shaping direction, driving excellence, and strengthening our collective impact.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Manage large complex projects or a project portfolio across the Infrastructure Sector.
- Ensure profitability and KPIs for own projects.
- Build customer relations at strategic level.
- Support the overall development of the business area, and contribute with market initiatives, offers and customer dialogues.
Work location
The role can be based in any of our offices in Denmark: Lyngby, Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense, Ringsted and Vejle. We work in international and multidisciplinary teams, and many of our projects are delivered across offices and borders.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or another relevant discipline.
- Deep industry expertise within infrastructure and transportation.
- Fluency in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
