Senior Solution Architect, Microsoft 365

Bunker Holding A/S

Are you driven by ownership of the Microsoft 365 platform and motivated by turning architecture into practical solutions? Do you thrive in a role where technical leadership, governance, and close collaboration with both IT and business are key? Then we would very much like to hear from you.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect, Microsoft 365 to take architectural ownership of our M365 platform and ensure that it supports business needs, security, and compliance – in real-world usage, not just in design documents.

You will act as a central sparring partner across IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, with real influence on how Microsoft 365 is developed, governed, and used across the group. The role sits at the intersection of architecture, platform responsibility, and business enablement.

The role

As Senior Solution Architect – Microsoft 365, you take the overall architectural and functional responsibility for our M365 landscape. While individual initiatives and projects may involve multiple stakeholders, you ensure coherence, standards, and long-term direction across the platform.

You operate close to both architecture and execution, ensuring that solutions are realistic, secure, and usable in day-to-day operations. This is a role where others come to you for guidance, decision support, and clarity on how Microsoft 365 should be used and evolved.

Your responsibilities

You will play a central role in shaping, governing, and continuously improving our Microsoft 365 platform. Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Defining and owning the architecture and design of solutions based on Microsoft 365, with focus on SharePoint, Teams, Copilot 365, and related services.
  • Taking overarching responsibility for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring stability, security, and alignment with business needs.
  • Developing and maintaining governance, standards, and best practices for M365 across the organization.
  • Contributing to licensing strategy, cost optimization, and roadmap planning for the platform.
  • Acting as a key technical sparring partner for both IT and business stakeholders, translating needs into concrete, usable solutions.
  • Ensuring coherence between Microsoft 365, Azure, the client platform (Intune), and business applications.
  • Participating in larger initiatives and projects as the technical lead on M365-related topics.

Your profile

You are a senior M365 professional with strong technical credibility and a holistic understanding of how collaboration platforms support both business processes and compliance requirements. You are comfortable taking ownership and acting as a trusted advisor across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We expect that you bring:

  • Solid experience as a Microsoft 365 architect or senior consultant, with deep practical knowledge of the platform (E3/E5).
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between Microsoft 365 and Azure in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in complex organizations with governance and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to translate complex technical possibilities into concrete, value-creating solutions.
  • Confidence communicating with both specialists and leadership, supported by strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • A structured, self-driven working style and the ability to balance architecture, operations, and business considerations.

Experience from larger organizations, insight into licensing models, and relevant Microsoft certifications are considered an advantage.
