Team Leader for Fund Accounting, Asset Management Operations

Do you want to lead the continued development and optimisation of Fund Accounting in Asset Management Operations at Danske Bank? We are looking for a Team Leader who can take responsibility for fund accounting and reporting for approximately 170 Danske Invest funds.

This is an opportunity to strengthen a central part of our Fund Administration value chain. You will lead a team with important recurring deliveries, while also helping us improve our platform, processes and use of technology. The role has a particular focus on optimising our use of SimCorp Dimension and supporting targeted AI adoption within Fund Accounting and across Fund Administration.

Your responsibilities

As Team Leader, you will have people management responsibility for the Fund Accounting team, consisting of five employees.

You will ensure timely and high-quality annual and half-year reporting for Danske Invest funds, support audit processes and participate in Danske Invest board meetings when relevant.

You will oversee key operational processes, including calculation and execution of fund distributions, as well as reconciliation and control of withholding taxes with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You will be responsible for annual ISAE 3402 reporting for fund administration and discretionary mandates, monthly reporting to the Danish Central Bank and other recurring reporting to authorities and industry organisations.

The team is also responsible for PRIIPs KID calculations and reporting for Danske Invest funds.

A key part of the role is to ensure strong and efficient use of SimCorp Dimension within the team, including ongoing accounting-related maintenance and activities related to year-end closing, fund launches, mergers and changes to fund set-ups.

You will contribute to continuous improvements of our existing platform and system support, with a particular focus on AI adoption across Fund Administration.

You will work closely with stakeholders in Danske Invest, the Asset Management Tribe and across Asset Management to ensure clear priorities, progress and robust solutions.

About you

We imagine that you have solid experience with financial reporting and a relevant master’s degree. Experience with UCITS and AIF reporting is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You have experience with process optimisation and understand the importance of strong system support in daily operations. You are motivated by improving the way Fund Accounting is supported by platforms and processes as an integrated part of our Fund Administration offering.

You work in a structured way with quality, controls and continuous improvements, and you are able to create progress across teams and stakeholders.

You are motivated by creating results through others. Previous leadership experience is an advantage, but we also welcome candidates with strong leadership potential.
