Beyond manual testing, you will play a key role in building and scaling our automated testing capabilities and improving how we use tools and AI to test smarter and faster.

About Your Team

You will join our Application Support team in Denmark which currently consists of 9 members. We operate within agile working methods with close cross-border collaboration with all business lines. Our company structure is flat, giving many opportunities for all team members to make a difference, take responsibility, excel and grow.

Your colleagues form part of our wider global IT team operating across 17 countries with 24 experts internationally. In this role you will work with other IT colleagues in both Denmark and the rest of the world. Our global IT team is an integral part of the wider Finance and Operations Department.

You will become a part of a close team of highly skilled tech professionals, who together have many years of experience within the insurance sector. You will report to our Application Manager, who is located in Copenhagen, Denmark

What Will You Do?

As our Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our apps which span from backend to frontend. Beyond manual testing, you will play a key role in building and scaling our automated testing capabilities and improving how we use tools and AI to test smarter and faster. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, service-minded, analytical, structured, and willing to take ownership of their tasks from start to finish.

You will collaborate with developers, data engineers and analysts to understand requirements and validate solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Performing regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new developments
  • Conducting behavioral testing to validate the system’s behavior against expected outcomes
  • Validating data flows and transformations across systems, including APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues through to resolution
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity across all platforms
  • Participating in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Building and maintaining automated test suites across backend APIs and frontend applications
  • Working with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
  • Integrating automated tests into CI CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
  • Using AI assisted testing tools to enhance test coverage and reduce manual effort

This position is newly created in our Danish office to support our growth strategy and add further value to the team. You will have the opportunity to evolve in the current position whilst learning new skills and developing your career.

This role is onsite, based in our Copenhagen office, with occasional domestic and international travel required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is proactive and takes responsibility, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and analyze comprehensive data.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Basic coding skills in a language such as JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, or similar
  • An understanding of how testing fits into CI CD pipelines (for example Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar)
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing test plans
  • Hands-on experience using automation tools to write and execute tests
  • Solid SQL skills to validate data and troubleshoot issues across systems
  • Practical experience in validating data models and ensuring data consistency across the data warehouse
  • A demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex data-related problems, ensuring high data quality and reliability

Please note that current residency in Denmark, with work and residency permit needs to be in place before applying.

Fluency in Danish is required, as well as strong written and spoken English.
