You will join our Commercial Enablement team within Purchase at Abacus Medicine Group. We operate in a dynamic trading environment where access, pricing, and availability constantly evolve across markets. Our role is to create clarity in this complexity by bringing together market developments, supplier insights, and business priorities. Acting as a bridge between Purchase and Business Development, we help ensure that opportunities are identified, prioritised, and followed through effectively.

In this role, you enter a complex and dynamic commercial environment. Your task is to build strong overviews, understand how different elements connect, and create clarity where it is not immediately visible.
On a day-to-day basis, you work with data, markets, and stakeholders across functions, developing a deep understanding of what drives performance and where commercial opportunities exist across suppliers and markets. You translate this understanding into structured insights that help teams gain direction and focus on what matters most. Through a structured and proactive approach, you support and, over time, take ownership of prioritisation, ensuring that insights are turned into clear input for decision-making and execution.
Your main responsibilities include:

Build and develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers, identifying opportunities to create commercial value

Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on market and supplier review meetings, where performance, opportunities, and priorities are aligned across stakeholders

Analyze market data, supplier performance, and competitor activity to identify trends and commercial opportunities always keeping our multi-market strategy in mind

Support decision-making by translating insights into clear input and helping prioritize opportunities across stakeholders

Collaborate closely with Purchase, Business Development, and other key stakeholders to align priorities and drive coordinated execution

Create structure, transparency, and follow-up on key activities and deliverables, ensuring progress on agreed initiatives

Contribute to improving processes, tools, and ways of working within Commercial Enablement and across stakeholders

Relevant experience from a commercial role such as procurement, portfolio management, OR change management is a strong advantage

A degree in business administration, economics, or a related field

Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously

Solid analytical skills and a structured approach to working with data and complexity

Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Openness to travel (approx. 5–15 days per year)
