MagVenture is on a rapid international growth journey with many exciting new products to come and that is why we need a new colleague to strengthen our product management activities.
The job
You will become part of the growing global Product Management team and play an important role in the finalization of an exciting development project for a novel medical device.
This is a 9-month project hire established to support the completion of a specific product development program. Working closely with experienced Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will contribute to bringing an innovative medical device through the final stages of development and toward market readiness.
The role offers a unique opportunity for a recently graduated engineer to gain hands-on experience in product management within the medical device industry. You will work closely with colleagues in R&D, QA/RA, Operations, Commercial, Service, as well as external partners and customers.
For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for continued employment after the project period.
The role will be based out of our Headquarters in Farum, Denmark.
Tasks
You will support the Product Management team in the final stages of a medical device development project and gain exposure to the entire product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and supporting product development activities including requirement management, design traceability, risk management, usability engineering, verification and validation, and associated design documentation.
- Supporting the preparation of documentation required for FDA submissions and other global regulatory activities.
- Establishing and maintaining the roadmap for commercial launch kits, clinical evidence packages and customer-facing product documentation.
- Supporting product launch activities through documentation, training materials, demonstrations and commercial enablement.
- Maintaining close collaboration with customers, advisors and technology partners to integrate feedback, monitor competitive developments and identify new product opportunities.
Qualifications
We acknowledge a broad set of backgrounds, but typically look for:
- Recently completed or soon-to-be-completed Bachelor's or Master's degree from DTU, KU, or a similar technical university.
- Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Health Technology, Clinical Engineering, Medical Technology, Neuroscience, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong interest in product management, innovation, and medical technology.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate information into clear documentation and requirements.
- Structured and analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Danish is an advantage.
- Experience through student projects, internships, thesis work, or student jobs within healthcare, medical technology, or product development is an advantage but not required.
- Familiarity with regulated development environments, usability engineering, or quality systems is considered a plus.
