As our new Senior Backend Engineer you'll join the Money Core team based in Aarhus, reporting to Girish, Engineering Manager for Money Core.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain our core banking systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
- Work with distributed systems and event-driven architecture to scale our payment infrastructure.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of projects, managing dependencies across various teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Embrace and uphold engineering standards, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Work in a team that takes AI seriously as part of how we write and ship code. You'll have the tools, the culture, and the mandate to explore what that means in practice.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer, with a strong background in distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Go is preferred.
- Experience with automated test cases and familiarity with monitoring systems like Grafana, Prometheus, or Kubernetes. A solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- A proven ability to navigate ambiguity and take on projects with a security-first mindset.
