In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Executive Office to drive the SVP agenda, shaping key deliverables, driving strategic processes, and ensuring that complex Supply Chain topics are translated into clear, business-relevant messages across the organisation.
The position
As a Senior Strategic Business Partner in Supply Chain Executive Office, you will play a central role in supporting the Supply Chain SVP agenda. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring that priorities are translated into tangible outputs that drive alignment and decision-making across the organisation.
Working in a dynamic and high-exposure environment, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Office, members of the SVP Management team, and senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to create business impact.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Drive Supply Chain strategic responses Facilitate direction-setting and decision-making by structuring input, synthesising insights, and developing clear, decision-ready material for senior leadership
- Translate complexity into clarity Simplify complex and technical topics into high-quality presentations, storylines, and leadership material for key forums, including SVP-level interactions that resonates beyond Supply Chain
- Own and deliver Executive Office outputs Lead and execute a broad range of initiatives and projects responding to the different dynamic business challenges orchestrated by the Executive Office e.g. agenda and decision material for Senior Management Meetings and events
- Lead and execute strategic initiatives Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives with strategic impact—ensuring progression from idea to implementation
- Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders Build strong relationships across the organisation, challenge constructively, and support leaders in translating strategic priorities into action
This is not a traditional support role. You will operate close to the SVP, contributing directly to senior leadership deliverables and decision-making.

To succeed in this role, you likely have:
- A Master’s degree within a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar
- 8+ years of experience from management consulting, strategy, business development, or a similar environment in a large, global organisation
- Be a PowerPoint wizard with strong “consulting toolbox”, including structured problem solving, storyline development, and presentation excellenceProven ability to operate effectively with senior stakeholders, translating input into clear recommendations and tangible outputs
- Possess strong business acumen and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical depth and business relevance
- A proactive and self-driven approach, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
- Approach tasks with a positive proactive attitude, great collaborative energy, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results independently
On a personal level, you are detail-oriented and prosper in working with various senior stakeholders as well as breaking down complex problems with the systematic application of rigorous data-driven thinking. You have high quality standards and you have distinguished yourself for delivering impressive results throughout your previous work experience. Your solid skills and work ethics make you comfortable taking on challenging assignments, and you typically deliver beyond expectations. You will be part of the Supply Chain Executive Office, supporting the SVP area in driving strategic priorities, enabling decision-making, and ensuring alignment across a complex and global organisation.
The Executive Office operates as a small, high-performing team with a broad interface across the organisation, offering a unique opportunity to gain insight into key strategic priorities and leadership processes.
