The Markets Post Trade Technology tribe plays an important role in Danske Bank being able to provide our large corporate and institutional clients with trade services to support their life-cycle management of financial markets transactions. You will work together with dedicated colleagues in a global team across Denmark, Lithuania and India characterised by an inclusive and supportive culture.
The Securities & Asset Services Domain in the tribe consist of 6 squads/teams supporting the entire Danske Bank group.
About the role
The domain is undergoing a massive transformation from legacy mainframe applications to a modernized and future-proofed platform consisting of a mix of vendor applications and in-house built .net based applications in a micro service architecture.
As Product Owner, you will lead a team of 10-12 business and tech professionals and be instrumental in ensuring a good working environment with a culture that promotes both teamwork and empowerment.
You will be responsible for the prioritization of work according to our strategic goals ensuring alignment with both business stakeholders and the leadership team and not least responsible for the outcome of the deliveries of the team. By setting the direction for our platform and business, you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills to leverage business from an end-to-end perspective and work closely together with stakeholders across the organisation.
You will:
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to bridge teams and domains to work as one team in Danske Bank
- Drive our continuing digital transformation by building solution roadmaps and prioritise the backlog
- Create an encouraging and collaborative environment through inclusive leadership
- Ensure that your team delivers timely and support by removing impediments
- Support the team’s continuous improvement in Agile maturity
- Lead, plan and report the ongoing work in relevant forums and communities
You will do so in a fast paced and changing environment, ensuring the right balance between driving our IT services forward and responding to key short-term requirements. You will be collaborating and using your problem-solving skills with the business owner and end-users across the organisation.
About you:

You have plenty of stakeholder management experience and are great at communicating on all levels of the organisation. You recognise that diversity and inclusion is foundational for end-to-end solutions. You know banking and have a good understanding of the securities post-trade domain.

Note that this is an on-site position in Copenhagen, Aarhus or Vilnius. This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 4160 EUR to 6240 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job). Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Product Management.
