You start your day partnering with engineering, production, and procurement to ensure the right hardware and software, BOMs, and variants are ready for real projects. You lead decisions that balance standardization, flexibility, cost, and compliance, keeping platforms reliable and easy to manufacture. Along the way, you stay close to business units on production processes and suppliers, turning long-term platform standards into practical, repeatable solutions that support the global energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own and maintain the generic and configurable Bill of Materials (BOM) for SCADA projects across business units
• Define and manage product variants and part numbers, ensuring accuracy, usability, and lifecycle clarity
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure hardware platforms meet software, system, and project requirements
• Ensure platforms are compliance-ready, including CE and UL marking, working closely with internal teams and suppliers
• Partner with Business units, production facilities, procurement, and service teams to deliver manufacturable, scalable, and well-documented SCADA solutions

What You Bring

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role within hardware, platform, or industrial systems
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, product variants, and product lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience working with production environments, suppliers, and procurement teams
• Familiarity with product compliance and certification standards such as CE and UL
• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders

About the Team

You will join the Platform Production Team within Siemens Gamesa, focusing on SCADA hardware platforms and BOM management. The team works across engineering, production, procurement, suppliers, and delivery organizations to ensure SCADA platforms are reliable, compliant, and easy to configure. Together, the team supports the full lifecycle of SCADA panel deliveries, from design and production to installation and upgrades. Collaboration, trust, and practical problem-solving are central to how the team operates. The work directly supports multiple business units and real customer projects worldwide.
