About us

In Credit Risk Standards – a part of Danske Bank’s risk function – we help secure a robust foundation for credit decisions by setting and maintaining the framework that underpins the bank’s role in the Nordic financial infrastructure and supports high-quality customer experiences. We work closely with stakeholders across the bank, from front-line staff to senior management, to ensure that credit risk policies are clear, consistent and effective.

You will join a team of six dedicated colleagues who share a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing and high professional standards. Together, we drive credit policy development, provide advisory on credit-related processes, and manage and monitor delegated lending authorities. Our work plays a key role in how the bank serves its customers and manages risk, and we take pride in translating complex requirements into practical solutions for the business.

About the role

As an analyst, you will help maintain and enhance the bank’s credit governance framework, enabling consistent and responsible credit decisions across the organisation. You will contribute to the development and follow-up of credit standards and play an active role in supporting a strong risk culture at Danske Bank. A key part of your role will be the administration of individual Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) for the bank’s largest credits, defining who can approve which credit decisions.

  • Administering the DLA and ensuring correct, timely updates
  • Issuing individual DLA letters to credit officers handling the largest credit applications
  • Monitoring and following up on mandatory DLA control activities
  • Documenting and helping to improve credit-related business processes and participating in internal dialogues and workshops with colleagues across the bank

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and structured colleague who thrives in a collaborative and agile environment and enjoys handling responsibilities. You are curious, comfortable taking initiative, and motivated by contributing to a strong risk culture through high-quality credit governance.

  • Are fluent in Danish (spoken and written) and have professional proficiency in English
  • Hold a degree in finance, economics, business administration (or similar) and/or bring relevant experience from the banking industry
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with different stakeholders in a complex organisation
  • Apply a thorough and structured work style, while consistently building knowledge and finding ways to improve our work
