If you have extra time in your everyday life and want to do something for others, it's a fantastic idea to
become a mentor.
You enter a warm community where we mentors often meet and exchange experiences in
a good and trusting environment.
You get the opportunity to help other people who really need your support.
and friend, and we will of course ensure that you are trained and equipped for the task.
Middelfart Municipality's mentor coordinator ensures the right match between you and your
mentee, and there is ongoing follow-up and supervision, so you are sure to always have
support in the hinterland.
Your task will be focused on helping, supporting and guiding your mentee to better
life skills. It can be practical things that need help with in everyday life, or you
steps in as a role model and guide. No two tasks are the same, just as we humans are not the same.

We are currently about 40 mentors, and we warmly welcome you to our community!
It is individual how much time you spend, but the mentor/mentee always finds a
good level that suits both parties. As a rule of thumb, you can count on two
hours per week on average.
You obviously have a clean criminal record and are willing to sign a
confidentiality agreement – and apart from that, there are absolutely no requirements regarding age, background,
experience etc.
