Here Is What The Job Entails

In the role as our next Temporary Accounting Assistant, you will be supporting ongoing accounting and bookkeeping activities. Moreover, you will work broadly with tasks in the financial area including reconciliation with customers and vendors.

More specifically you will be:

Posting and reconciling customer invoices and payments
Supporting monthly reconciliation and documentation as well as reconciling bank accounts and vendor accounts
Maintaining customer and vendor master data
Participating in process improvements and ad hoc accounting tasks
Providing general support to the bookkeeping and accounting team

In this job, you will be a trusted team member who will support the bookkeeping and accounting team in ensuring the highest quality in our financial operations. Moreover, you will experience a steep learning curve while working hands-on with a variety of financial tasks and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will be part of our finance department, consisting of 45 dedicated colleagues who together strive to provide financial insights with a forward-looking focus based on facts and figures. Our department is characterized by ambitions, a high degree of learning, and a focus on outcomes.

We are looking for a Temporary Accounting Assistant who is eager to gain financial experience during a sabbatical year. As you will work collaboratively with a variety of different tasks, we are looking for a trusted team player who enjoys contributing to the positive work environment in the team.

In order to succeed we imagine that you:

Are currently taking a sabbatical year after High School
Are interested in accounting and economy
Work in a structured manner to maintain overview of your tasks
Enjoy collaboration and continuous sparring with colleagues
Values quality and efficiency in your daily work

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
