For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $86,400 - $129,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Lead to drive and govern cybersecurity across a global portfolio of critical power infrastructure solutions. Reporting to the VP of Global R&D, you will define and execute a forward-looking cybersecurity strategy, ensuring security is embedded across the full product lifecycle.

As the cybersecurity authority for the Line of Business, you will influence product direction, strengthen security maturity, and build trust with customers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and lead cybersecurity strategy aligned with business and regulatory priorities
  • Embed secure-by-design and DevSecOps practices across the product lifecycle
  • Drive security requirements for UPS, PDU, STS, battery, and connected IoT solutions
  • Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management
  • Ensure compliance with frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Oversee product security incident response and certification efforts
  • Partner with R&D, product, and global teams to scale cybersecurity capabilities
  • Represent Schneider Electric with customers, auditors, and industry stakeholders

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in industrial systems or embedded environments
  • Strong expertise in product security, ICS/IoT, and secure development (DevSecOps)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust, PKI, device identity, and secure firmware
  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations with strong stakeholder influence

Preferred:

Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, CSSLP, or IEC 62443; familiarity with IoT platforms (e.g., EcoStruxure) and cloud-connected systems.
