Do you want to design operating models and bring them to life in the world’s largest logistics organisation? Can you guide DSV’s senior management, and contribute with holistic thinking? Join Enterprise Design at the DSV HQ.
Join the Enterprise Design department
You will be part of a small, dynamic team that works closely with colleagues across all business divisions and provides direct guidance to DSV’s senior management.
Our objective as a team is to translate business strategies and digital ambitions into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
“We’re directly involved in facilitating and driving strategic initiatives for DSV’s executive team, and we’re excited to play a central role shaping the target state for DSV. Our goal is to help make DSV not only the largest logistics company in the world but also the best,” explains Anders Peter Bjorholm, Head of Enterprise Business Architecture.
Translate business goals into actionable plans
Working alongside your team, you will facilitate collaboration among business divisions, IT operations, marketing and finance. At its core, your role is to develop the target state for strategic initiatives and create the needed transition roadmaps to realise the value, contributing to the digitisation and strategic targets of DSV.
Your responsibilities will include documenting analyses, designs, decisions and ensure stakeholders understand clearly and buy-in. In practice, you will:
- Work closely with senior executives to drive DSV’s strategic initiatives forward
- Design target operating models across DSV, and how to realise the aspirations
- Develop and operationalise strategy execution frameworks for DSV - we take great inspiration from the business architecture practices including value stream and capability mapping
- Prepare and facilitate workshops and working sessions across organisational units and geographies
- Communicate progress, achievements and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Practical examples of what we do:
- Planning and design for M&A integration e.g. target digital landscape
- Service models for how DSV serve customer segments
- Create frameworks applied across DSV for strategy execution e.g. business capabilities for strategic planning
Analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills
First and foremost, you are a great team player who enjoys collaborating with open and cooperative colleagues. Your current role may be within management consulting, internal strategy consulting, digital product management or business architecture.
You are also analytical and practical in your problem-solving approach, capable of conceptualising and visualising complex issues. You can effectively assess and shape strategic initiatives by applying best practice methodologies i.e. identifying target capabilities, conducting heat mapping and outlining roadmaps.
These abilities likely result from your:
- Solid problem-solving toolbox, and ability to design and execute transformations
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to move high attention initiatives forward in large-scale organisations
- Experience driving transformation and taking theory into operational execution
- IT acumen and a good understanding of business strategy
- Knowledge of the business architecture practice is a plus, but not a prerequisite. You will quickly learn in the role.
You will be employed in the role of (senior) Business Architect.
Location is at DSV headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark.
