How would feel about joining our Western Europe Legal team in a role that will focus on Supply Chain and Logistics where Operational experience will help you shape and develop this newly created position?

Core Responsibilities

  • Leading legal workstreams in operations, mainly within supply chain, logistics and procurement, including cooperating with internal specialists and external counsel.

  • Stakeholder management – from executive level down to mid management and specialist.

  • Ensuring high compliance level.

  • Revise, draft and negotiate all types and levels of contracts.

  • Establish best practices for contract management and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Advise on matter with implication beyond the contract in question.

  • Make assessments and decisions on relevant scenarios.

  • Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management and various departments on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.

  • Collaborate with executives on corporate policies and best practices.

  • Provide training and mentorship to internal stakeholders on legal compliance and corporate policies.

  • May manage large and complex projects or processes independently.

  • Drive and manage external stakeholders at medium to high complexity.

The Western Europe Legal Team is a team with regional (Western Europe markets and IPR enforcement) and global operations (Facilities, Supply Chain/Logistics and Procurement)

responsibility dedicated to providing legal assistance across our areas for key tasks and projects that support the LEGO Group’s strategic priorities and commercial agenda.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant experience from inhouse or private practice within commercial legal work, preferably within operations (supply chain/logistics and procurement).

  • Collaborate mindset.

  • Proven track-record in sophisticated negotiations and stakeholder management at highest level.

  • Strong commercial understanding across multiple level of value chain.

  • Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on legal issues.

  • Thrives in a changing environment.

  • English to an advanced level.

  • Work independently, recognized subject matter expert, able to coach others, tasks are independently identified and defined

  • Communicate directly with senior management, independently handling conflicts in negotiation

  • Typically, end-to-end perspective including understanding trade-offs for different scenarios
