As a CE Architect, you will join a team of professionals in Denmark and be part of our Global Community.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor within Customer Engagement, combining deep technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset. You thrive in customer-facing situations, bringing clarity and confidence to complex CE challenges, and creating peace of mind for customers through your structured and solution-oriented approach.


Core Responsibilities

As a CE Architect at Columbus, you will shape Customer Engagement solutions for clients by analysing requirements and designing solutions based on best practices. This includes:

  • Lead the CE area during pre-sales and project implementations, with a strong focus on customer dialogue, opportunity shaping, and solution positioning

  • Design CE architecture across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Customer Insights in alignment with customer needs, and communicate these effectively to both local and remote delivery teams

  • Take on roles such as domain owner or SME, ensuring strong ownership of CE offerings and best practices within the Columbus portfolio

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive client engagement, scoping workshops, and proposals

  • Select and implement the right tools, configuration, and design patterns to deliver scalable and commercially sound solutions

  • Leverage approaches like POCs and MVPs to bring innovative solutions to life in early customer engagements

  • Stay ahead of developments within the Microsoft CE stack, including Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights), Power Platform, Copilot, and AI capabilities

  • Work flexibly across Denmark, both onsite with customers and remotely


To Succeed in the Role

You bring a strong combination of technical depth, business understanding, and a commercial mindset. You are outgoing, proactive, and confident in customer interactions, with the ability to build trust and translate complex solutions into clear business outcomes.

You also bring:

  • A structured approach, with solid understanding of Customer Engagement processes, customer journeys, and data models

  • The ability to operate at both strategic and advisory level, rather than purely in technical deep dives

  • A commercial instinct: you recognise opportunities, contribute to revenue growth, and understand how to position solutions in a competitive market

  • Practical experience handling projects within your domain, including navigating complex deliveries

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to connect people across teams, domains, and geographies


Your background and experience

The successful candidate brings a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within IT consultancy. Furthermore:

  • Proven experience in CE solution architecture across one or more of: Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights

  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and integration patterns with Azure and third-party systems

  • Familiarity with AI and Copilot capabilities in the Dynamics 365 CE space

  • Background from the Customer Engagement or consultancy industry, preferably with insight into competitors and market dynamics

  • Experience working in customer-facing and pre-sales roles

  • Microsoft certification is an advantage: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or equivalent

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in Danish and English

  • Willingness to travel approx. 20-30 days annually
