Here Is What The Job Entails

As Head of Sales, you will be having the full responsibility for driving commercial growth and turning strategic ambitions into concrete execution within the Danish Utilities and Non-Utilities markets. You will be leading and developing a team of external sales professionals while acting as a sales anchor to accelerate growth across segments, including positioning Kamstrup even more strongly in the non-utility segment, C&I, and residential sectors. Here, your focus will be on building a stronger, more targeted sales approach toward partners and C&I customers.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Translating strategy into action to deliver on growth ambitions
  • Driving sales across the full portfolio: meters, infrastructure, software and services
  • Developing both personal and performance capabilities across the sales team
  • Ensuring a value‑creation and partnership‑oriented approach in customer dialogues


In the role, you will experience a freedom to act, allowing you to shape your mandate, form the commercial direction, and build the frameworks that move our business ahead. You will also be at the forefront of strengthen our sales approach even more from solution‑focused to fully service‑oriented, enabling utilities to operate more efficiently, optimizing their grid operation. Through this transformation, your work will not only influence Kamstrup’s commercial future but will directly contribute to strengthening and accelerating the green transition across the Danish utility sector.

Travelling is an essential part of the job, and you can expect approximately 10-20 travel days per year mainly within Denmark.

With direct reference to the Head of Sales Denmark, you will become a part our global sales and marketing function of more than 200 employees. You will be interacting with customers as well as many internal stakeholders, maintaining a strong link between customers and Kamstrup and ensuring a strong customer voice into Kamstrup. More specially you will be part of our Danish sales force, leading a team of 6-8 passionate professionals driven by our purpose “we make what you measure matter”. We are looking for a Head of Sales who is ready to take our Danish sales force to new heights. You achieve this by combining a strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of the Danish utility & non-utility landscape and a natural approach to solution selling. You thrive in a role where leadership, customer focus and strategic execution come together. And you dare to role model how great c-level sales looks like to others.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably from an international company in a technical industry
  • A commercial or technical educational background combined with a strong business mindset
  • Proven success in leading and developing high‑performing sales teams with +5 years of relevant leadership experience
  • The ability to build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based customer relationships
  • A value‑based sales approach and a strong interest in the energy sector


As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
