- Inspire, lead, and motivate your team to reach their full potential. You will do this through impact conversations and regular 1:1s, where you create space for alignment, feedback, and development.
- Own the technical direction of Team Horizon’s data aggregation ecosystem, translating product direction into clear and actionable engineering priorities.
- Take an established, capable team and grow it further — both in size and in customer impact.
- Balance customer needs, platform strategy, and day-to-day engineering execution.
- Shape what the team works on and why, not just how. You will drive prioritization and make trade-off decisions, rather than waiting for them to be made for you.
- Over time, act as an advocate for The Trackunit Way, helping scale how we lead people and build products in a fast-growing SaaS company.
- You are a people leader first. Coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development come naturally to you.
- You contribute to cross-functional engineering discussions around data systems, APIs, and integration patterns, without needing to be hands-on in the code.
- You are curious and innovation-oriented. You challenge assumptions and bring new perspectives rather than settling for the status quo.
- You thrive in environments with high autonomy and ambiguity. You raise challenges early, bring a clear point of view, and are comfortable pushing back on leadership when needed.

- 45 min interview with a person from our Talent Acquisition team.
- 1 hour interview with the hiring manager and relevant engineering or product partners.
- Technical and leadership interview, which will include a case discussion to demonstrate approach to real-world challenges.
- Reference and background checks as needed for the level of the role.
