Join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and step into a global leadership role at the heart of wind turbine technology. As Head of Low Voltage System, you lead a department of around 75 specialists across Denmark, India, and Spain, shaping how low-voltage solutions are designed and delivered for wind power applications. You engage daily with complex technical interfaces, balance competences and capacities, and guide managers through a demanding matrix organization. By combining people leadership with deep technical understanding, you keep teams motivated, aligned, and ready to support the next generation of wind turbines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and develop a globally distributed Low Voltage System department, ensuring the right competences, skills, and capacity to support wind turbine projects
  • Optimize the department’s mode of operation by improving processes, tools, and planning to increase efficiency and handle fluctuations
  • Manage managers through clear leadership roles, regular 1:1s, and strong vertical communication up and down the organization
  • Act as a technical sparring partner and ad-hoc consultant, providing guidance on control cabinets, low-voltage cables, grounding, EMC, lightning, and related systems
  • Collaborate closely with other teams in the Electrical Module and across the Technology organization, managing complex stakeholder interfaces

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience managing managers in a complex technical environment
  • Solid understanding of Low Voltage Systems, ideally within wind power or similar industrial technology
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate many technical and organizational interfaces
  • Experience with remote leadership of globally distributed teams
  • A structured, planning-focused leadership approach, with the ability to manage changing priorities and capacity demands

About the Team

You will lead the Low Voltage System department, responsible for the design and specification of control cabinets, low-voltage cables, grounding, EMC, lightning, and other electrical components used in wind turbines. The department consists of approximately 75 people, organized into three teams in Denmark, two teams in India, and one team in Spain. The teams work closely with other electrical module teams and the wider Technology organization. The work is technically complex and highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with many stakeholders.
