Technical Service Specialist – NH3 Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology

Responsibilities / Tasks
As a Technical Service Specialist, you will become an expert in GEA Grasso’s product portfolio, including screw and piston compressors, as well as chillers and heat pumps.
You Will Work Closely With
- Authorized refrigeration companies
- Support teams in our factories in Germany and the Netherlands
On-site with customers (60–70% of the time across Scandinavia):
- Technical support and advanced troubleshooting on GEA equipment
- Commissioning of GEA Grasso compressors, chillers, and heat pumps
- Setup and programming of GEA’s Omni compressor control system
- Preparation of commissioning jobs and site visits
- Documentation of executed works through service, commissioning, and claim reports
- Technical support via phone and email
- Creating and managing cases in CRM service portal (2nd level support to factories)
You have a strong but open mindset that in combination with your communicative and technical skills enables you to work independently and structured, taking the decisions needed to execute our job tasks, when on site. You like collaborating with your colleagues, in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
We Expect That You
- Are an educated refrigeration technician
- Have in-depth knowledge of industrial NH3 refrigeration and heat pump systems
- Have experience with compressor controllers and PLCs
- Are accustomed to setting up, analyzing, and using data from control systems
- Good computer skills proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 applications
- You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- You are comfortable working in English in an international environment

You will be part of GEA Grasso’s Service team in Skanderborg. The team consists of one team lead and two service technicians, working closely together with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The Service team works closely together with the Sales team that currently count 2 Area Sales Managers, responsible for all sale of GEA Grasso’s product portfolio in Scandinavia.
