This position is part of the Sales department, and will be remote, with up to 50% travel required. We're ideally looking for someone based in Europe.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Own and manage a defined portfolio of strategic Sea-Bird channel partners across EMEA and Canada
- Influence the behavior of these key channel partners to achieve revenue growth targets
- Proactively identify new growth opportunities within the assigned geography
- Actively manage channel opportunity funnels and provide support in closing strategic opportunities
- Provide product and applications training and support to channel partners and customers
- Act as the voice of the distributor with Sea-Bird and work cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve the customer and channel partner experience
- Maintain clear, proactive and professional communication with channels and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor’s in science and/or engineering preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in a technical B2B sales environment with meaningful exposure to channel or distributor-led models
- Experience managing complex relationships across geographies and cultures
- Proven track record of professional selling and opportunity development skills
- Product and applications acumen with oceanographic background preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
