Hands-on operational leadership in an international manufacturing environment

Do you know what strong operations actually look like on the factory floor? Are you comfortable taking full ownership of execution while navigating the expectations of an international, U.S.-based organization?

At RealTruck RTD, we are looking for an experienced, pragmatic Supply Chain Manager to take end-to-end ownership of supply chain execution at our Danish production site. This is an operational leadership role for someone who has built and run supply chains in manufacturing environments, and who still enjoys being close to the operation.

You will lead an established team of approximately 10 employees across supply chain execution, logistics, warehouse operations, and customer support. Your mission is simple, but critical: stable daily operations, high delivery reliability, and continuous operational improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who has “been there, done that” and now wants real responsibility, visible impact, and the ability to influence how things are done, without moving into a purely corporate or strategic desk role.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead, coach, and develop the RTD Supply Chain organization (approx. 10 people)
  • Own end-to-end execution from order intake to customer delivery
  • Ensure strong daily operational performance across logistics, warehouse, and customer support
  • Secure inventory accuracy, availability, and working capital optimization
  • Drive high on-time delivery and service levels in a production-driven environment
  • Act as the operational link between production, planning, sales, and customers
  • Translate S&OP and planning outputs into reliable and stable execution
  • Manage customer support operations with a focus on professionalism and fast resolution
  • Collaborate closely with international stakeholders, including U.S.-based leadership
  • Continuously improve processes, systems, and operational discipline over time

What We Are Looking For

You are likely an experienced supply chain or operations leader who brings:

  • 7–12+ years of experience within supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in manufacturing
  • Solid leadership experience, ideally leading teams of 5–15 people
  • A background from international or U.S.-owned production companies
  • Strong operational understanding of planning, execution, and ERP/MRP systems
  • A structured, execution-focused mindset with high standards for reliability and follow-through
  • The ability to balance hands-on leadership with stakeholder management
  • Experience with customer-facing supply chain responsibilities is a plus

Most importantly, you are comfortable being close to the operation, walking the floor, solving real problems, and supporting your team in daily execution.
