Project Manager Ship Propulsion Systems

We are expanding our footprint at our production site in Frederikshavn and are looking for several Project Managers to strengthen our local presence.
You will play an important role in:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex ship propulsion system projects based on high-speed marine engines. You will act as the central interface between customers, internal teams and external partners.
This role is based in Frederikshavn and requires a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and structured decision-making, while being closely connected to our core team in Augsburg (Germany).
Your Responsibilities
- Leading technical projects from sales handover through to final delivery and service transition
- Managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and risk factors
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and global resources to ensure project success
- Defining and aligning technical specifications, including system interface management
- Overseeing commissioning activities to secure successful project completion
- Managing contracts, claims, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting Sales during the bidding and proposal phases
- Have experience in technical project management (e.g. within marine, mechanical, or energy systems)
- Possess a solid technical understanding combined with a commercial mindset
- Work in a structured and independent manner with a strong sense of ownership
- Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Take a proactive, solution-oriented, and team-focused approach
- Are business fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Are willing to travel internationally (approx. 20 days per year)
- Ideally have experience with SAP and MS Office
You will be part of an international and collaborative team with a core group in Augsburg and a growing local presence in Frederikshavn. Together we combine strong engineering expertise with hands-on project execution at the production site.
