Do you want to lead the marketing effort for one of the Nordic region's most recognized fitness brands? At SATS Denmark, we are on a mission to make people healthier and happier – and we need a strong Marketing Manager to help us get there.
As Marketing Manager for Denmark, you own the local marketing strategy and annual plan, translating Nordic brand direction into activities that resonate with Danish members and prospects. You sit at the intersection of local insight and Nordic ambition – working closely with the Nordic Marketing & Communication team while driving meaningful results on the ground in Denmark.
This is a key role in our Danish market, working with campaigns and media, portfolio projects such as club openings and reopening after upgrades, PR, events and partnerships.
You will lead and develop a Marketing Coordinator and collaborate daily with Country Operations Management for Denmark and our Nordic functions in brand & content, digital, CRM, PR and Customer Service. You will report to the Chief Marketing & Communication Officer (CMO) and work closely with the Country Manager for Denmark.
Key Responsibility Areas

Based on the overall Nordic marketing strategy and plan, own the local marketing plan for Denmark aligning with local brand and business objectives

Strengthen brand perception in Denmark on product offering and inspiration

Drive and execute Nordic and local campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, with support from the Nordic team

Plan and execute strategic events, such as new club openings, re-openings after upgrades, product launches and other member-facing activations

Lead influencer marketing for Denmark, for example ambassador collaborations to strengthen brand awareness and drive growth

Own local social media content in Denmark, following and executing the Nordic organic social media strategy complemented by local content created in collaboration with internal social media ambassadors

Manage local PR in collaboration with the Nordic PR function and our Danish PR agency with a focus on building SATS's brand reputation and securing positive earned media

Drive marketing workstreams for other locally relevant projects, such as our cooperation with Team Denmark and Copenhagen Marathon

Manage and develop the Marketing Coordinator, fostering a high-performing, creative, and structured way of working
Who You Are

5+ years in similar managerial position, ideally working as a Marketing Manager or similar for a fast-paced consumer brand, in retail, or in a lifestyle/fitness context

Equally strong strategically and operationally – you can set the plan and execute it hands-on with a solid commercial mind-set

A natural project manager: structured, proactive, and able to run multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously

Ability to work cross-functionally in a team with both Nordic colleagues and Danish colleagues

Experience from managing or mentoring team members

Strong communication skills – fluent in Danish and English, written and verbal

Practical Information
The position is based at SATS Service Office in Lyngby
Occasional travel to other SATS offices across Scandinavia, primarily to Oslo, Norway (approximately 5–10 travel days per year)
Full-time position (37 hours per week)
