Director, Performance Excellence
Faerch Group
Team Purpose
We want to unlock sustainable value across Faerch by driving strategic initiatives that improve performance, strengthen competitiveness, and support long-term growth. Working across functions and geographies, the team ensures that strategic priorities are translated into tangible business outcomes.
About Faerch
Faerch is a leading supplier of circular, rigid food packaging with integrated recycling capability. We serve food manufacturers, food service providers, and retailers around the world with our network of state-of-the-art production facilities across Europe and the US. Today, more than 5,000 employees are part of the Faerch Group, which is part of the A.P. Moller Holding.
Working at Faerch means joining a purpose-driven company focused on sustainability and innovation. We invest in your growth and offer a supportive, international environment where people thrive.
Your Role
As our Director, Performance Excellence you will lead the execution of one of Faerch’s most important strategic programmes. You will establish and lead a central Execution Office, ensuring that value-creating initiatives are prioritised, delivered, and tracked across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders across Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and other functions, you will translate strategic ambitions into actionable plans and measurable results. Your focus will be on accelerating execution, removing barriers, driving accountability, and ensuring that the programme delivers meaningful financial and operational impact.
What We're Looking For
You are a results-driven transformation leader who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy and execution. You know how to create momentum, align stakeholders around shared goals, and drive complex initiatives from concept to delivery.
You combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills and are comfortable challenging the status quo to achieve better outcomes. Most importantly, you are energised by creating measurable value and building a culture of accountability and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the end-to-end execution of the Gearing for Growth programme
- Establish and lead a high-performing Execution Office with clear governance, reporting, and accountability structures
- Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritise, and deliver value-generating initiatives across functions
- Monitor, track, and report financial and operational impact, ensuring transparency and benefits realisation
- Drive a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience leading large-scale transformation, value creation, or performance improvement programmes
- Strong programme management background, gained in industry, operations, consulting, or a related environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business and financial impact
- Comfortable operating in complex, cross-functional, and international organisations
- Strong financial understanding and ability to connect operational improvements with value creation
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
Within your first year, you will have established a highly effective Execution Office, created clear governance and reporting structures, and built strong engagement across key business functions.
Longer term, your success will be measured by the delivery of agreed value creation targets, increased organisational accountability, improved execution capabilities, and sustainable performance improvements across the business.
