App Technology Lead
IMPACT
As an App Technology Lead at IMPACT, you play a central role in defining and growing our app and mobile commerce offering. You combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and a strong commercial mindset to help clients unlock new business opportunities through mobile experiences.
You will work across the entire lifecycle of app projects – from early-stage discovery and solution design to technical leadership and delivery. At the same time, you help shape the future direction of app development at IMPACT by strengthening capabilities, mentoring colleagues, and identifying new opportunities within mobile technology and commerce.
The role combines technology leadership, client advisory, business development, and hands-on solutioning. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, strategists, designers, and engineers to create scalable, future-proof solutions that generate measurable business impact.
More specifically, your main responsibilities would be
Drive the development of IMPACT's app and mobile commerce capabilities
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on app strategy, architecture, and technology choices
Translate business ambitions and customer needs into scalable technical solutions
Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and solution design processes
Support business development activities, proposals, and client pitches with technical expertise
Shape architecture and technical direction across app-based commerce solutions
Collaborate closely with consultants, strategists, designers, and engineers throughout project lifecycles
Ensure high standards for quality, scalability, security, and performance across solutions
Stay curious about emerging technologies, frameworks, and mobile trends, identifying opportunities that create value for clients
Mentor colleagues and contribute to strengthening app development capabilities across IMPACT
Challenge established thinking and continuously explore new ways to create better digital experiences

Additionally, we imagine you to
Have extensive experience within mobile app development and architecture
Have worked with native mobile technologies and/or cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
Have experience designing scalable digital solutions and system integrations
Understand APIs, cloud platforms, composable architectures, and modern commerce ecosystems
Enjoy working directly with clients and advising on technology decisions
Have experience leading technical teams, communities, or capability areas
Are comfortable facilitating workshops and communicating complex technical concepts to different audiences
Thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy collaborating across disciplines
Stay curious about emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities to innovate
In addition, experience within digital commerce, e-commerce platforms, or customer-facing applications is considered an advantage.
