Your new role
As our new Advanced Test Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of design verification and shelf-life testing for our device and primary packaging projects. Your work ensures that the product design meets specified requirements under defined and controlled test conditions. In collaboration with the project team, you will use your interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to challenge the status quo and focus on delivering fast solutions. In addition, you will engage and contribute to a continuous high performing testing verification department.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Planning and leading design verification and shelf‑life testing activities across development projects
- Authoring test protocols, executing tests, and reporting test data to support DVT and shelf‑life studies
- Contributing to requirement definition, risk mitigation, and design verification strategies
- Collaborating with project teams to challenge existing solutions and support timely decision‑making
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within test methods, procedures, and training
You will join the Device Verification Development (DVD) department within Device Development & Innovation (DDI) in Hillerød. We deliver exploratory testing, design verification testing (DVT), and quality control framework specifications across Novo Nordisk’s device, primary packaging, and oral portfolios. You will become part of a diverse and highly skilled team of engineers and lab technicians, united by a strong quality mindset and a shared focus on patient safety and product excellence.
Your Skills And Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a regulated, collaborative environment. You bring both technical insight and a structured approach to planning and execution.
To Succeed In This Role, You Have
- An academic degree in Engineering (e.g. mechanical, biomedical) or a similar technical field
- Experience with test planning, data analysis, and technical reporting
- Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and stakeholder groups
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience from medical device development, design control, GMP environments, test standards, or method validation is considered an advantage
- An analytical mindset and can easily navigate the intersection between data, people, and processes.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 570,200 to 838,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
