Step into a key leadership role where you will shape and elevate the global sponsorship agenda, including flagship strategic platforms within The VELUX Group.

You will define, prioritise and drive long-term sponsorship investments and partnerships, ensuring they deliver measurable brand and business impact as an integrated part of our global marketing efforts, including strong activation toward professional customers and partners, with a clear focus on supporting B2B engagement and value creation.

This role combines strategic ownership with strong leadership, requiring you to operate confidently at executive level while ensuring high-quality activation across markets and touchpoints.

Meet your future team

You will join a highly skilled and collaborative global team within Brand, Marketing & Communications, working across sponsorship, activation and brand experience.

As Senior Manager, you will lead the team and the function, ensuring that sponsorship and activation are executed with excellence, strong governance, and clear impact. The team works closely with regional and market stakeholders to bring the brand of The VELUX Group to life through meaningful, high-quality experiences.

What We Offer

You will play a central role in shaping and delivering the global sponsorship and activation approach, ensuring it strengthens the brand while driving measurable business impact. Working across strategy, partnerships and execution, you will create a cohesive direction for how sponsorships are prioritised, activated and leveraged across markets.

In this role, you will operate at both strategic and operational levels, building a strong global foundation while enabling local teams to execute effectively. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across a complex international organisation to ensure alignment with brand, sustainability, marketing and commercial priorities.

More specifically, your tasks will be:

  • Defining and driving the global, multi-year sponsorship strategy, ensuring a focused portfolio and clear alignment with overall business objectives
  • Managing and evolving the global sponsorship portfolio, including partnerships and activation platforms, with strong prioritisation and long-term value creation
  • Leveraging sponsorship platforms as a driver for B2B marketing impact, enabling partner engagement, customer acquisition and support to key commercial priorities
  • Driving end-to-end value creation from partnerships through to activation and measurement, ensuring clear and measurable brand and commercial impact
  • Establishing and refining global frameworks, governance and tools to enable consistent, high-quality activation across markets
  • Leading impactful activation across channels and touchpoints, translating sponsorship platforms into meaningful customer, partner and employee experiences
  • Translating sponsorship platforms into marketing and commercial value, including support to B2B engagement and key customer journeys across markets
  • Acting as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, shaping priorities, guiding investment decisions and ensuring alignment between brand, commercial and customer agendas
  • Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team, fostering strong collaboration, accountability and delivery across the function

What You Will Bring

You are an experienced leader with a strong track record in sponsorship, partnerships and activation, and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally. You bring a strong understanding of how marketing can drive value in B2B and partner-led environments.

Moreover, we expect you to have:

  • Proven experience in owning and developing sponsorship platforms or partnerships at scale to support B2B marketing, customer journeys and commercial activation
  • Strong background in brand activation and experience marketing, with a clear focus on delivering business impact
  • Experience leveraging brand platforms or partnerships to support B2B engagement, customer journeys or commercial activation
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Experience operating in complex, cross-functional and international environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement at senior and executive level
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience from global or multi-market organisations is an advantage.
