Senior Lead Software Engineer

As Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will combine technical leadership with hands-on development, driving the design and delivery of scalable applications that support our global business and customers.

In this role, you will lead a team of talented engineers while contributing across the entire technology stack—from data ingestion and backend services to modern web applications. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Digital teams, you will help define technical direction, establish best practices, and ensure that our platforms remain scalable, reliable, and future-ready.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and promoting best practices
• Define technical direction and contribute to architectural decisions across platform applications
• Design and develop scalable data ingestion and pipeline solutions using Python
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#)
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver new platform capabilities
• Drive code quality, maintainability, performance, and scalability across the full technology stack
• Promote modern software development practices including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps principles
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in software development, including experience in a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, Software Architect, or similar senior engineering role
• Strong expertise in Python, particularly within data ingestion, processing, and pipeline development
• Deep knowledge of .NET and C# for backend application development
• Proven experience developing modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering end-to-end software solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and guide teams through implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience within industrial technology, IoT, or renewable energy environments
