B1.3 Engineer

The helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line/base) of the helicopters. They work in a team of engineers and reports to the Shift Supervisor and further to the Maintenance Management.Responsibilities and Main Results AreasLine Maintenance

· Work to the highest quality and safety standard set by the company;

· Identify and report safety hazards and occurrences;

· Familiarize yourself and strictly follow MOE, MSOP and company procedures;

· Acknowledge new documents in Fleetplan and read-and-sign folders.

· Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out on helicopters meet the standard of the BE CAA and MOE instructions;

· Properly document and certify all tasks performed in the work sheets only using current and applicable maintenance data;

· Ensure, together with all Engineers, and variable and flexible work planning and work roster based on business needs that supports and realizes business continuity;

· Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;

· Ensure, based on pilot and all other relevant information, daily problem analysis and problem solving;

· Follow assigned training to keep your Company Authorization Card and certification privileges valid;

· Ensure briefing and debriefing of pilots and Maintenance Management;

· Participate in the toolbox meeting and shift handovers.

· Willing to travel abroad during normal scheduled shift period to support Danish AOC operations.

· Responsible for complying with Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls and supporting information security objectives

Skills and ExperienceExperience

· EASA Part 66 B1.3 License

· H175 type rating on your Part-66 license.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation as a licensed engineer.

· Engineering experience in different aviation companies is a plus.

Skills

· ICT literate (specific aviation software and MS Office)

· Languages: English (professional level)

· Knows & operates by the procedure and processes (operational, quality, safety …) installed by the company

· Good communicator:

o debriefing to pilots, flight crew, Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Management.

o handover of work from/to previous/next shift

· Able to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment and to take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within appropriate time scales

· Logic thinking
