OT Server Engineer

Main Responsibilities:
- Engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of virtual and physical OT server environments.
- Conduct lifecycle assessments and maintain maintenance and upgrade roadmaps.
- Provide server platform requirements, technical specifications, and procurement support materials.
- Deliver secure server configurations, hardening documentation, and compliance evidence.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on supportability and transition impacts.
- Execute server replacements, migrations, and version upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Design backup, restore, and high availability solutions.
- Proactively monitor performance, health, capacity, and security.
- Drive automation and standardization to enhance reliability.
- Support integration with OT/SCADA systems and conduct incident analysis for improvements.
- Solid experience with server virtualization and Windows/Linux system administration.
- Good understanding of secure OT network environments.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and operational integration.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, vSAN).
- Expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
- Proficiency with directory services integration and monitoring tools.
- Experience in preparing technical documents and validation support.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for server environments.
- Automation skills (e.g., PowerShell scripting).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware (e.g., Dell, HPE, IBM).
- Experience with security solutions (e.g., Trend Micro, Splunk).
