Senior Software Architect

Chora is looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect to take ownership of our software architecture and drive the technical direction of mission-critical products used in the telecommunications industry.

What you will be working with:

• Defining and evolving the overall software architecture

• Designing scalable, robust, and maintainable distributed systems

• Architectural leadership and technical decision-making

• Backend services, APIs, integrations, and data models

• High availability, performance, security, and reliability

• Mentoring developers and raising engineering standards

• Close collaboration with R&D leadership and product stakeholders

• Balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term technical strategy

We are looking for someone who has:

• 8+ years of experience in professional software development

• Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Software Architect

• Strong expertise in distributed systems and software architecture

• Experience within telecommunications or a related technical domain

• Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and high-availability systems

• Experience with messaging, streaming platforms, and data processing ecosystems

• Solid understanding of databases, integrations, and system interfaces

• The ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on when needed
