Here Is What The Job Entails

In the role as our next Site Reliability Engineer, you will take a key position in improving the reliability and operational quality of Kamstrup’s SaaS platforms. You will work with technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, automated deployments, and multi-region cloud architecture, ensuring that our platforms and applications are stable, scalable, and continuously improving.

More specifically you will be:

  • Resolving complex issues across Kubernetes, Azure, APIs, databases, and key integrations
  • Enhancing monitoring and observability by improving dashboards, SLIs, alerts, and Dynatrace visibility
  • Automating operational workflows through scripting, pipelines, and tooling to reduce manual work
  • Improving platform reliability by strengthening release processes, scaling, failover, patching, and service hardening
  • Ensuring operational readiness by developing runbooks, improving documentation, and supporting security and compliance frameworks


You will not only operate our systems you will help shape how we work with reliability, automation, and observability going forward. Your work will directly improve performance and stability for millions of connected devices and thousands of customers worldwide.

Meet your future team

With a direct reference to our Head of Global Hosting HCW, you will join Global Hosting HCW. This is a team of around 10 specialists located in Denmark, Spain, and the US. We operate and evolve the SaaS platforms powering Kamstrup’s global metering solutions and own the full hosting lifecycle across multiple Azure regions. The environment is mature but evolving. It is stable enough to be predictable, open enough for you to make an impact. The atmosphere is supportive and problem-solving oriented. We challenge each other professionally, help when things get complicated, and keep the tone relaxed even when the systems are challenging us.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a reliability-driven engineer who enjoys diving into complex operational challenges while improving the processes that prevent them. You value structure, clarity, and automation while enjoying collaborating across teams and regions.

In order to succeed we imagine that you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
  • Bring practical experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure preferred) and with automating workflows through Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and GitLab or comparable technologies.
  • Work confidently with container-based platforms such as Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, as well as monitoring/observability tools like Dynatrace
  • Excel at troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, APIs, and databases
  • Contribute strong communication skills, effective collaboration, and a proactive mindset to the team


As we are an international organisation it is important that you are fluent in English. Danish will be considered an advantage.
