PCB Test Software Developer

Kamstrup

Do you want to play a key role in developing reliable automated test solutions that ensure the quality of advanced electronics products? Are you motivated by working close to both software and electronics in a high tech production environment where your solutions make a real difference?

Here Is What The Job Entails

In the role as our PCB Test Software Developer, you will work closely with both product development and production in an agile environment. You will take part in projects from specification through commissioning and handover to production, working hands‑on with test software.

More specifically you will be:

  • Developing and optimizing automated print test equipment used in Kamstrup’s PCBA production
  • Participating in PCBA-related improvement projects and process optimizations
  • Developing automated test sequences in .NET using TestStand to control rack’n’stack instrumentation to ensure the fastest possible cycle time in production
  • Primarily focusing on C# software development for test software and test sequences used in our production environment

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of software, electronics, and production, contributing directly to efficient, and high‑quality PCB production while continuously developing your technical skills in an agile and collaborative setup.

Meet your future team

You will join our PCB Test Development, consisting of 12 dedicated colleagues, where you will work closely with 4 software colleagues. Together, we are responsible for the electronics test equipment at the PCBA factory, ensuring stable and reliable production while continuously improving our test solutions and ways of working. The team is characterized by honesty, strong cooperation, high technical competence, and a great team spirit, where knowledge sharing and mutual support are key elements of our daily work.

Did you know? A few times a year, we organize team events such as cooking and preparing a three-course menu, home‑brewing beer, and trying underwater rugby.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a reliable and technically curious developer who enjoys working close to hardware and production environments. You thrive when software meets electronics, and you enjoy collaborating closely with others in order to reach work-related goals.

In order to succeed we imagine that you:

  • Have an educational background within electronics or a related technical field
  • Bring experience from electronics test engineering, electronics production, or similar production related development roles (experience with PCBA testing is an advantage)
  • Have solid knowledge about electronic circuitries and experience with C#
  • Bring a fact-based and structured approach to problem solving
  • Are a team player with a curious mindset and a strong interest in learning

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
