Role
For our Aarhus office, we're looking for an experienced software developer to join the AGS development team. We build world-leading software that helps customers in environmental protection, groundwater exploration, critical mineral resources, renewable energy, and infrastructure understand what lies beneath the earth's surface—without drilling or digging. Our tools enable faster, more informed decisions while reducing environmental impact.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Design, build, test, and refine large-scale software systems, ensuring alignment with architectural and security requirements.
- Develop new cloud-based geophysical solutions for monitoring and processing large datasets.
- Maintain and enhance our established AGS desktop applications (Workbench, SPIA, Res2DInv, and Res3DInv).
- Collaborate across teams—working closely with developers, Product Management, QA, and Support—to investigate and resolve issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, pair programming, and automation efforts, ensuring high standards in our software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years working in relevant Software Development roles.
- Experience with or curiosity to learn C++, C#, Delphi, Python, MS Azure, GCP, git, and GitHub actions.
- Experience with application security best practices is a plus.
- Confident oral and written communication skills.
- Have a desire to build and release innovative, high-quality software.
- Have an interest in science (mathematical, engineering, or science background).
- Have strong analytical, problem solving, and methodical skills.
- Be passionate, driven, and motivated to work in a highly technical environment.
