The impact you’ll have as a Full Stack Developer:

Chaos Cylindo is a cutting-edge 3D product visualisation platform for commerce that makes creating, managing, and distributing photorealistic product visuals easy. As Full Stack Developer at Chaos Cylindo, you will join our cross-functional Asset Creation team. The team is responsible for building out the self service tooling our customers crave and turning our web portal into the most effective and intuitive platform for creating and managing 3d assets.

At Chaos, we innovate at scale and prioritise rapid development, all while putting our customers first. Despite our size, we operate with the agility of a start-up, so being able to juggle multiple projects is crucial.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with design and product teams where you will take part in every step of the process of building, from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment, and maintenance to forge exceptional product experiences
• Produce clean, effective code within an agile team setting.
• Take part in decision-making and design discussions during the development
• Help plan, implement, and release new features
• Troubleshoot code, play detective, and squash bugs to keep our software snappy
• Inspire and challenge the organisation with your knowledge of how to solve problems
• Continuously challenge the status quo through rapid prototyping and iterative development

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in JavaScript tech for application design, development and testing (our team uses Next.js with Typescript and a GraphQL backend)
• You’re a database ninja, and know your way around MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
• You have a firm understanding of cloud computing ideally in GCP but something similar works too!
• You possess some experience with or are looking forward to getting hands-on experience with WebAssembly and Rust.
• You love learning, experimenting and sharing your knowledge with others
• You have a true passion for development, innovation and crafting amazing user experiences
• Experience with 3d tools, technology or concepts would be awesome but is not required
