Project Role Combined with Technical tasks and Ad Hoc Consultancy
Based in one of our offices in Arhus, Copenhagen, Hamburg, London, Glasgow, Zaragoza, or Taipei you will primarily take on a project role combined with a mix of consultancy and technical tasks related to BoP and engineering. You will become a part of our BoP team within Engineering & Asset Integrity but will often find yourself working cross-functionally.
Your key activities and responsibilities could include:
- Responsibility for the technical negotiation and implementation of the BoP contracts in the Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operational phase
- Attending supplier meetings in technical forums, and supporting the commercial team in negotiations of BoP supply and service contracts
- Writing and facilitating employer’s requirements for onshore and offshore substations, array and export cables and grid connection
- Supplying technical communication exchanged within the project
- Supporting employer’s BoP package during early development and EPC phase
- Support the interface design processes between the BoP packages and other packages together with your team.
- Ensuring relevant permits are achieved on time by actively supporting the permitting package
- Developing and maintaining procedures and requirements for walk-downs
- Defining scopes of inspections and maintenance activities on Transmissions Assets and Balance of Plant Electrical equipment
- Supporting project certification
- Acting as technical representation on the project by recommending technical solutions or changes to the project management
- Coordinating and participating in the review of quality and as-built documentation during the project (manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final takeover)
- Ad hoc consultancy tasks
- Support to operational team during asset handover from EPC
- Leading technical topics for Technical Due Diligence projects
Seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer
As our next Senior Electrical Engineer, we expect that you have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years post-education experience. You possess extensive technical and practical knowledge of one or more areas within array and export cables, grid connection, HV or LV, combined with a minimum of 3 years of offshore wind experience or experience offshore. We expect you to be well-rounded in the different engineering disciplines and that this foundation allows you to take a holistic, commercial, HSQE and practical approach to solving challenges. As PEAK Wind and our clients work globally, we are looking for someone with an international mindset and someone fluent, both verbally and written in English. Background in Offshore EPC projects / operational start-up of offshore windfarms / windfarm operations is an advantage. Being an advanced user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & PowerPoint is an asset.
