Senior finance and performance management analyst for Personal & Business Customers - #399360

Job Description

Can you provide fact-based insight and advice to managers and employees? Do you want a role, where your analyses can make a real impact on the decision-making in Danske Bank? Then you might be one of our new senior analysts in Financial Management and Projects for Personal & Business Customers (part of CFO area).

You will be working with a wide range of tasks within financial management, planning and analysis, including strategic and financial advice to senior management, rolling forecast, business cases, key performance indicators, target setting and investment proposals etc.

You will be part of a highly dedicated team responsible for performance management for our Personal & Business Customers segments that covers four countries, and you will work with the management team in these segments as well as the front office, and many other stakeholders in the bank.

Business Partnering and financial analyses

Our primary role is to be business partners to the management team in Personal and Business Customers and to provide them with relevant financial and non-financial insight to support decision-making.

In this position, you will:

Have a key role for either Personal Customers or Business Customers, ensuring day to day performance follow-up.

Become a trusted partner in the cross-section between the business and the workings of the Group’s financials

Drive projects related to performance, strategy execution and follow-up,

Create value-adding analysis on high level financial targets/forecasts as well as specific portfolio sub-segments

As we are a team of 9 colleagues covering large ground, you will be involved in several aspects and various types of analyses - often in collaboration with other parts of the bank such as Pricing, Strategy and Group Finance. Solid Analytical Capabilities And a Structured Approach

We imagine that you:

Are good at testing the accuracy and relevance of information, and can present complex matters in an understandable way.

Have a financial background e.g. cand.merc, cand.oecon, HD or similar.

Have experience from the banking sector or a similar position, but it is not a requirement.

Are an expert user of Microsoft Excel and you have skills within data handling, ideally also experienced in SQL and/or EPM systems such as SAP.

Are fluent in English.

You are analytical, pragmatic, structured and result oriented. You are comfortable working with numbers and have a strong business acumen. In addition, you are ambitious, self-driven, able to handle ambiguity, and you have good interpersonal and presentation skills.
