Business Development Associate (Agri-tech startup) - #399331

We are looking for a new business development associate who would be willing to join our startup project at Senpage Consulting. If you are interested in gaining experience in business development and are currently pursuing higher education, have recently graduated, or have 1+ years of experience, this position is for you!

Senpage Consulting is a volunteer-led advisory group focused on helping sustainable startups and NGOs achieve their goals without sacrificing their values. Our ideal candidate is a current master's student in a university within Copenhagen such as CBS, KU, DTU, etc., who should be comfortable reaching out and interacting with new people.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Current student or recent graduate in Agriculture, Business, Management, Marketing, or a relevant field
• Positive attitude and a passion for helping sustainable companies succeed.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Able to commit 5-10 hours per week.
  
  

You don’t need to have a lot of experience, but we expect you to be able to work independently – we are a team of volunteers, so we all work asynchronously.

The Project

The project involves collaborating with an AgriTech startup to develop sensor solutions tailored for dairy farming applications. The goal is to revolutionize dairy farming by providing farmers with actionable insights for enhancing productivity, sustainability, and overall farm performance.

The Role

This position is aimed at students and recent graduates who have an interest in a business development career within innovative startups, green tech, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape in the AgriTech industry.
• Outreach Strategy: Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to engage with farmers, agricultural organizations, industry influencers, and other relevant stakeholders. Utilize various channels such as email, social media, events, and direct outreach to effectively communicate our value proposition and generate leads.
• Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through proactive prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads for further engagement.
• Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with agricultural associations, technology providers, government agencies, and other relevant organizations to expand our network and enhance our market presence.
