Platform Engineer, Web DevOps - #394981

We are now looking for a Platform Engineer to help improve our CI/CD flows, to automate processes, build the tooling and DevOps best practice that will help optimise the software delivery and stability.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high quality solutions that builds, manage and rolls out software deployments and to leverage automation tools and best practices to ensure efficient, reliable and scalable deployment.

You will be working with newer technology, frameworks and platforms including:

• Kubernetes / Docker
• Ansible & Tower
• Terraform

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deploymemt process and ensure smooth delivery of our applications
• Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security and high availability
• Deploy Docker containerisation strategies for streamlined application deployment
• Craft and update automated deployment scripts for application software products
• Collaborate closely with developers to execute software deployment plans seamlessly

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has experience with implemention of DevOps tools and processes
• Has hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
• Has experience with some of the frameworks and platforms we use
• Proven ability to author infrastructure-as-code templates
• Has some knowledge in cloud technologies, AWS is a plus
• Has an understanding of our tech-stack (Drupal / PHP / JavaScript / Typescript / React) will be an advantage in improving the interaction between code and infrastructure
• Are knowledgeable about networks
• Is eager to stay up to date with latest technologies and motivated to learn new things
