Senior MarCom Strategist who excels in brand activation

Advance is looking for a strategist with 5+ years of experience to join our MarCom team and help our clients bring their brands and stories to market in successful and efficient ways.

 

If you have a proven track record in orchestrating impactful campaigns and digital marketing solutions, and you love turning audience and media insights into effective go-to-market strategies, then this just might be the role for you! 

 

As our new Senior MarCom Strategist, your main responsibilities include advising our clients on go-to-market strategies, developing campaign ecosystems, and recommending content best practices. It’s a given that you are truly dedicated to your field of expertise, curious by nature, and that you love staying up to date with digital trends, the (social) media landscape, and audience behavior.

 

What do we offer?

You’ll get the opportunity to apply your skills in a creative agency where collaboration is key: you will work closely with likeminded strategists, client service directors, project managers, and creatives, and you’ll play a key role in the complete campaign development process, from initial brief to execution. 

 

As part of the Advance MarCom team, you will also get the opportunity to develop strategic brand solutions with a strong commercial focus, including value propositioning, positioning strategies, brand- and campaign strategies. 

 

Your role & key responsibilities

  • As part of the MarCom Strategy team, you’ll take the lead of a portfolio of clients by delivering high-quality insights and strategic recommendations.

 

  • As subject matter expert, you provide inspiration, best-practice guidelines, and discussion opportunities to your colleagues at the agency with the purpose of enhancing our client solutions.

 

  • You collaborate with external execution partners to ensure best practice implementation that aligns with the defined strategic foundation, e.g. digital and media agencies.

 

  • You provide support, training, and feedback to junior strategists in the MarCom team who will help you derive insights and develop client presentations.

 

  • We invite you to challenge conventions, proactively suggest alternatives, and explore new opportunities within your area of expertise.

 

Desired skills & experience

  • You hold an MA degree in business and/or marketing and have 5+ years of agency experience working as a strategist in social media, digital marketing, or similar. 

 

  • You demonstrate strong strategic experience when it comes to ecosystem mapping, KPI frameworks, digital personas, customer decision journeys, channel and content strategies, and so forth.

 

  • You are curious by nature and always stay up-to-date with new digital technologies, emerging media opportunities, and social media trends/best practices.

 

  • You are a strategic and commercial thinker who can make recommendations from a channel-agnostic perspective, i.e. applying a holistic and audience-first approach.

 

  • You have a can-do attitude, are outgoing, and love to work in a collaborative environment.

 

  • You demonstrate exceptional presentation skills and convey expertise when presenting to clients. You possess excellent English written and verbal skills and you master crafting visually appealing and impactful presentations in PowerPoint.
