Become part of Hempel’s expanding & diverse R&D Passive Fire Protection team. We are seeking a Business Technical Expert Partner PFP that will be passionate about providing technical PFP expertise to Hempel colleagues and customers at a global scale, hence helping us to deliver on our ambitious double Impact strategy.

You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to our Head of R&D, Europe, be based in either Spain, Denmark, or the United Kingdom , with flexible work options (remote or office), and collaborate with colleagues from all over the world. Your Key Tasks Will Include

• Offering guidance and assistance on technical and certification matters related to PFP to the organization.
• Ensuring a sustainable plan for PFP certification, collaborating with other stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinating certification maintenance for PFP products, keeping the product certification and test reports for PFP up to date, and maintaining the certification library.
• Assisting subject matter experts, facilitating tasks among other document management and co-writing technical articles.
• Conducting training sessions for Hempel colleagues, focusing on best practices, procedural instructions, and identifying process discrepancies.
• Recommending and coordinating improvements as well as provide support during their implementation phase.
  
  

What does it take to become our new team member?

Ideally, but not mandatorily, you hold a technical degree such as Engineering or Chemistry or any other relevant related technical degree, possess experience in the area, and are organized and structured, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

You excel in both written and spoken English, showcasing exceptional communication skills. Your customer-centric approach drives your passion for supporting others. Adept at meticulous planning and timely execution, you consistently deliver outstanding results. Working seamlessly in teams, you embody a continuous improvement mindset and a thirst for knowledge. It is a plus if your background includes valuable experience in certification maintenance within the (intumescent) coatings or chemical industry. It is a require proven computer skills.
