WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

In Business Development, we work with real life business problems and drive high-profile projects that will ensure long-term competitive advantages in JYSK. Projects are closely aligned with our strategic objectives and spans across functional areas, addressing strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Recent projects have been within the areas of Customer Feedback, Assortment, Expansion outside Europe and Artificial Intelligence, to name just a few.

You will be enrolled in a two-year Graduate Programme, where you will actively take on a key role in our projects – both as part of a project team, and later as a Project Manager. You will be exposed to all levels of the organisation, as a member of the JYSK Executive Management Team typically sponsors our projects.

As a Graduate you will:

• Support on our main strategic projects in Business Development
• Drive projects that ensure that you develop relevant competencies
• Work with the management and specialists across many different business areas
• Cooperate with stakeholders at the head office in Aarhus, at the regional head office in Flensburg and get the chance to work with stakeholders across some of the 28 countries where JYSK operate

You will be involved in different tasks such as:

• Define project scope, drive fact-based analysis, develop and coordinate actionable plans and follow up on progress
• Prepare material and facilitate decision forums and meetings
• Participate in the on-going development of Business Development and our project management tool box

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

To succeed in this role, you need a strong foundation in data analysis and know how to think strategically. Your ability to translate data into actionable insights and set a clear direction will be crucial. Your strong sense for business and your analytical mindset makes you a confident decision-maker, that thrive in an environment where you have a plan, until you make a new one. Furthermore, you can present your points in an easily understandable and convincing way.

In addition, you:

• Have finished or will soon finish your Master’s degree within business or similar
• Have 1-2 years of experience from a relevant full-time or student job
• Are a fast learner who can quickly understand new business areas, which enables you to participate in discussions with fact-based arguments
• Are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders on all levels of an organisation and from different cultures
• Are trustworthy and able to establish good relations with key stakeholders
