The job
As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that Systematic adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to information security risk management and supplier risk evaluations. You can expect to conduct thorough risk assessments, manage compliance programmes and collaborate with various departments to mitigate risks, i.e. our business units, including all projects.

In short, your main area of work will revolve around information security risk assessments – for projects and for suppliers, combining tasks such as:

  • performing detailed assessments of IT systems and processes to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • evaluating and monitoring the risk profiles of suppliers, ensuring they satisfy compliance requirements
  • developing, implementing and maintaining compliance programmes to satisfy regulatory requirements
  • ensuring all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with current laws and industry standards
  • preparing and presenting detailed reports on information security and supplier risk assessments to senior management, providing recommendations for improvements and ensuring timely follow-up on action items
  • conducting training sessions for employees on compliance policies, risk management practices and regulatory changes and fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation
  • collaborating with IT and other departments to implement security measures and controls
  • monitoring and responding to security incidents and breaches


Joining the team
Joining as our new colleague in Group Security, you will be joining the team responsible for protecting Systematic against information security risks:
a team that ensures compliance with relevant information security requirements and regulations. Our team consists of four employees based in Aarhus, Denmark and Bucharest, Romania. We thrive in an international work environment by maintaining close contact. For example, we conduct regular Scrum meetings to maintain progress and ensure alignment on various tasks, as well as reaching out and using each other as collaborative and sparring partners.

Your Qualifications
As our new colleague in Group Security, we expect you to hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Law or a related field and to have at least 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the software industry. Additionally, we expect you to hold relevant information security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or similar. Joining an international team, you must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to information security risk assessments and supplier risk evaluations, along with relevant experience, is highly desirable.

This role may involve some business travel – expect 5–10 days per year.
